Look Up a Word’s Definition As You Browse the Web
Google Dictionary (by Google) is a tool that lets you easily view definitions of any word, word fragment, or text. You can use it to search the web, browse the web or any place on the internet or anywhere in the world. It also supports English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, Arabic, Bengali, Japanese, Chinese, Malay, and other languages.
This extension is a work in progress and is working on adding features that will improve your experience.
The reason why it does not support adding the dictionary to the Chrome store is that it requires permission to use the web browser.

Simply excellent. It defines the words normally used in News articles that one seldom finds in a normal dictionary. It is always up to date. It is easily accessible.
